I didn't think I could post to my blog but it looks like I can. Anyway I do have at least one finish since I last posted. It's ABC Teddy Bear. I was so glad to finish it. That bear gave me fits and I grew to hate it. But here it is. I don't know if I posted the Puppy here either. That was a fun one Here is my current WIP as of yesterday. It's Baltimore Oreos by Crossed Wing Collection. I am enjoying this piece. I wanted something srpingy and what says spring more than birds. I'll tell you a secret. I really don't like birds, they are too noisy but I like stitching them. An update on Mya who has bone cancer. She is CANCER FREE!!! Her scans 3 weeks ago all showed the cancer gone from her leg. As far as her lungs go they believe the nodules are dead cancer cells or something else altogether different. Her family believe dead cancer cells. She will have lung surgery to have the nodules removed. The doctors told her parents that
This first piece is a small piece I finished about 3 months ago and didn't post it. So here it is now. Second one I finished a couple months ago. I thought this puppy was cute. Now for update on Baltimore Oreioles. I finally have the second bird started. It's about half done now. I haven't had time to work on it that much but will have more time I think. Anyone else find that they think they have a quiet week and it fills up fast? Last weekend I got to work at the Cat Shelter for Bissell Adopt A Pet Days. (It went from Wed-Sunday) I was there Thurs. and had 1 cat adopted out that night but 2 during the day. Saturday I was there, and the morning was really quiet, only one person came in, but then the afternoon got really busy. A lot of people came through, 3 cats got adopted. Between the 4 days 21 cats went out! We were thrilled, it was our best Bissell event. (Last one we did was a bust only 1 cat was adopted). Now that spring has finally come I

Looks like a lovely piece. My Baltimore is patchworked. I do have a cross stitch pattern for a Baltimore, not ready to start it just yet.:)
